Home to the famous “Kaldi”, the goat herder who supposedly first discovered coffee’s ‘caffeinated’ qualities, Ethiopia has an abundance of varied flavour profiles – depending on the process and region the coffee is produced – from strawberry to mango, passion fruit and pineapple. Limou (sometimes referred to as Limu) is a beautiful and rich tasting Single Origin coffee. As a washed coffee, this bean exhibits a clean cup and very full flavor with hints of fruit and a strong dark cocoa finish. Hints of apricot nectar make the cup very complex, the juicy middle leaves you wanting another cup.
A complex cup when light roasted for filter, also a good espresso coffee when medium to medium-dark roasted.
