Costa Rica - Dota Tarazzau
Whole Roasted Coffee Beans
This coffee comes from the Dota county of Terrazú region, where coffee was established by Spanish settlers in 1779. The moderate climate supported good coffee production and producer Coope Dota has their own nursery model farm allowing them full control over the coffee growing process. This coffee is processed semi-washed, aka Honey Process, where pulp from the cherry fruit is laid over the drying coffee beans, imparting fruit flavors into them!
This coffee makes a mean espresso with lush, thick lingering body, sweet cherry aroma and chocolate notes.
For filter coffee drinkers, it delivers a sweet cup with light acidity and an intense plummy character, perfect for those in the “sour coffee is just wrong” camp!

It was creamy and had a rich taste of ripe berries, walnut, and dark chocolate. It was the perfect cup of coffee.
