This Brazil Cerrado green coffee is a specialty grade offering from the Cerrado growing region. Produced by farmers belonging to cooperatives in the Cerrado region within the state of Minas Gerais. Coffee in this region is grown on high plateaus at elevations peaking just over 1,000 meters above sea level. With relatively mild weather patterns allowing for a lot of control, the farmers here can focus on quality and production instead of the weather. With good sweetness but low complexity, Brazilian beans are commonly used in blends. The current offering, however, is Fine Cup (FC) and Strictly Soft (SS), the highest cup category in the Brazilian coffee grading, and makes for a great single origin coffee to savour on its own!
