FAQ
Are you able to recommend coffee variety based on my taste preference?
Yes, we’ll be more than happy to! You see, our mission is to make specialty coffee accessible to everyone. We don’t believe you have to know arcane coffee names to enjoy good coffee. We hate coffee snobbery and subscribe to the notion of ‘specialty coffee for the rest of us’!
Feel free to drop us a note on our Contact page or just whatsapp your taste preference and we’ll get you sorted with some amazing coffee!
How do you ensure my coffee is fresh? When is the roast date for my coffee?
Our coffee is roasted on demand every Monday and Thursday and despatched to you the day after. Orders placed before 1pm are roasted the same day! Hence it is technically impossible to receive weeks old coffee from us because we hate stale coffee as much as you do!
When will I receive my coffee?
We despatch your coffee on even days of the week, one day after roasting and at most 2 days from your order depending on your order date. Our door-to-door delivery partner typically takes 1-2 days to get your order to you.
This timing from our roaster to your cup is factored into the recommended ageing perimeter for our coffee.
Will I know if my coffee is en route to me?
Once your order is despatched and fulfilled, you will receive a text message or email with your tracking number.
If after 3 days from the notification you have not received your coffee, please contact us and we’ll happily get you sorted!
How is my coffee shipped?
Our delivery partners are NinjaVan and Q-Express, two of the foremost logistic services in the region.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes we do! Our coffee has ‘bean’ around the world! Our online ordering system is equipped to calculate and handle shipping anywhere.
If I don’t yet own a grinder, can I still order your coffee?
Absolutely! We love coffee too much to ever let a grinder get in the way of anyone enjoying our coffee!
Simply let us know what method you will be brewing with and we’ll get your coffee pre-ground to the right granularity.
How long can I keep the beans for freshness? Do you believe in resting coffee?
Depending on roast levels – Filter roasts can be kept for 4-6 weeks and in many cases actually taste better resting 2 weeks or more. Espresso beans should be aged for 4-7 days and consumed within 3-4 weeks max.
